For over 70 years, Branch 250 has served Veterans, their families and our community. Everyone is welcome here.
Five years ago our membership had levelled off at about 125. Our Members saw a chance to reimagine what our Legion could become, and today we're about 250 strong.
We revitalized the upstairs hall, put on a new roof, refreshed our two storey pana-bode building and opened a fully renovated downstairs lounge.
With our Ladies Auxiliary, every dollar from the Gaming Fund and Poppy Fund stays in Kitimat.
The Legion is here for Veterans and their families, and for the whole community they served.
Help for Veterans and their families, from Poppy Fund support to free help with Veterans Affairs claims.
We lead Kitimat's Remembrance Day ceremony and run the Poppy Campaign each fall.
We support young people in Kitimat, including the cadets who march with us every November.
Many local non-profit groups use our hall at no cost, and the Branch is a place for everyone to gather.
You don't have to be a Veteran to join. Members keep the Branch going and support Veterans right here in Kitimat.
